Quiet Country Charm

Every Stay Feels Personal

Our three private vacation cottage rentals are thoughtfully restored spaces—an old milkhouse, a barn, and a countryside hideaway—each filled with antiques, natural fibers, and hand-finished details that reflect the creative spirit of the Hudson Valley. Nothing here is mass-produced or predictable. Instead, you’ll find spaces designed for people who appreciate authenticity: beautiful imperfections, meaningful craftsmanship, and the quiet charm of buildings that have lived many lives.

Gardens, Meadows, and Friendly Farm Animals

Life at Thyme in the Country Cottages moves at a gentler pace. Five acres of gardens, meadow, and pond create space to wander, read, fish, or simply breathe deeply. The friendly goats and geese are always nearby, adding charm and personality to every visit. Guest Reflections

  • I needed quiet accommodations that would promise a good night's sleep. I got that and a whole lot more. The owners of Thyme In The Country skimp on nothing when it comes to comfort, style and loving touches.
  • You so generously allow your guests the run of the farm, and it is just beautiful. We love the places to sit and rest and look at the garden, or wander across the fields in the back. And, of course, the goats!
  • We chose to stay in the Eco-Cottage, which was the perfect accommodation! The inside was so cozy. There was plenty of natural light (thanks to the beautiful front windows, which provided a lovely view of the courtyard outside). The bed was supremely comfortable, and had plenty of pillows and blankets, which contributed even more to the cozy cabin vibe! Each morning we were greeted by the sound of birds happily going about their day :) There is even a tiny picnic table situated outside overlooking their backyard garden, that is the perfect place to sit and enjoy your morning cup of coffee/tea (which they also stocked in the cabin!).
